Whether it be at the Arctic Slope or on the most remote tropical island, we supply meteorological services at the most challenging locations on the globe.
Surface Observations
Performing surface aviation and upper air weather observation services under contract with the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) and National Weather Service (NWS) since 1997.
Upper Air
We collect weather data from the upper-atmosphere. This data is obtained from instrument packages (radiosondes, rawinsondes, and rocketsondes) that are carried aloft by weather balloons, rockets, etc., that transmit the data back to a receiving station on the ground. This "upper air" data consists of temperature, relative humidity, atmospheric pressure, and wind.
